Delete your account

In the app

Open the Us tab, choose Delete account, and confirm. It happens at once and cannot be undone.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, write to admin@heardandhandled.com from the email address on the account, with “Delete my account” as the subject. We will delete it and tell you when it is done, within one month. We can only act on a request that comes from the address the account uses, because that is how we know it is yours.

What it removes

• Your account: your email address, name, timezone and routine time, and the phones signed in to it with their push tokens.
• Every item you sent, removed ones included, with their answers and any photos.

What it does not remove

• Items that were sent to you. They stay with the household, no longer addressed to anyone, because they are part of the household’s history too.
• Copies in our backups. They age out within six months and are used only to restore the service after a failure.
